0-12 in the Ugly Duckling Stage

This weekend saw the 0-12 get closed up. Its starting to look like a guitar!
This is also what I call the Ugly Duckling Stage. The binding ledges have been cut and today it will get Brazilian Rosewood bindings installed to match the Rosette, bridge and fretboard.

Thanks for looking!

If that's the ugly duckling stage, I can't wait to see what the pretty parts look like.

Hi Paul, the pretty part should be starting in a week or two, the 0-12 is all but done and ready for finish, I will post some progress pics of the finishing sessions soon.

John, I'm thrilled your enjoying your 12 fret-D, keep me posted and whenever you get a chance, shoot me a picture of you and your guitar for my family album and all :-)

Ray, I am excited to get going on your guitar! Keep watching the blog, ya never know, I may join a top or too real soon. I prefer to join the top and back plates as soon as possible, giving the glue a VERY long time to cure which help prevent shrinking under the lacquer.
